INVESTIGATING BURNOUT SYNDROME AMONG NURSES IN ERADAH COMPLEX FOR MENTAL HEALTH AT TABUK-KSA
Author(s): Abd El-Mohasan Alamri* Purpose: This research aims to investigate the burnout syndrome among nurses in Eradah complex for mental health at Tabuk-KSA. By employing the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), this research investigates Emotional Exhaustion (EE), Depersonalization (DP), and Personal Accomplishment (PA) and its degree of prevalence and the correlation between them. Method: This research based on a sample of nurses (n=138). Quantitative method applied using questionnaire describing the probability of burnout symptoms associated with MBI subscale scores. Results: The study reveal a moderate high prevalence of burnout syndrome (26.19 ± 13.47) among nurses in Eradah with high symptoms of (EE) (appeared at 48% of participants), moderate symptoms of (DP) (appeared at 57%), and high symptoms of (PA) (appeared at 50%).
